Hairspray stains are a common and unsightly problem. Whether you've gotten too close to the spray nozzle, or your dress is covered with stray droplets, removing these stains can seem like a daunting task. But with right techniques and tools, hairspray stains can be easily removed from clothing and other fabrics.
  Things You'll Need
  - White cloth
- Dish soap
- Water
- Rubbing alcohol (optional)
- Towel
 Instructions:
  - Blot the stain gently with a white cloth to remove any excess hairspray.
- Form a lather with a few drops of dish soap and some warm water. Gently rub this solution into the stained area of fabric.
- Rinse off the soap solution with warm water.
- If the stain remains, pour some rubbing alcohol onto a white cloth and dab the stain.
- Once the stain is gone, rinse rubbing alcohol off with warm water.
- Gently pat the fabric dry with a towel.
- If stain persists, repeat steps 1 through 6.
 Tips:
  - Always check the care label before washing a garment. Some fabrics may require a professional cleaner when it comes to removing tough stains.
- Never use off-brand hair products. The dyes in these products are much more likely to cause stains.
- If you don't have rubbing alcohol, try using vinegar and water as an alternative stain remover.
