         Instructions 
  -  Dampen the stained area with water and apply a gentle detergent or dish soap. 
-  Blot dampened area with a soft cloth or paper towel. 
-  Next, create a solution by mixing one-half teaspoon of white vinegar and one cup of warm water in a small bowl or container. 
-  Dab the solution on to the stain using a clean cloth. 
-  Afterwards, rinse area using cold water and allow it to dry. 
 Precautions 
  -  Always test the solution on an inconspicuous area of scarf before applying it to the stained area. 
-  Do not use hot water as this may set the stain. 
-  Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the stain as this may cause damage to the fabric. 
 Additional Tips 
  -  If the stain persists, try dabbing the stain with rubbing alcohol. 
-  For tougher or older stains, try applying a teaspoon of ammonia to one cup of cool water. 
-  For delicate fabrics, consider taking the scarf to a professional dry cleaner.
