         Tools Needed
  - Paper towels
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Bucket or bowl
- Spoon or spatula
- Clean cloth
- Vacuum cleaner
- Dry shampoo (optional)
 Directions
  - Carefully lift up dried nail polish with paper towels, taking care not to spread the stain.
- Fill a bucket or bowl with isopropyl alcohol and use a spoon or spatula to mix it into a solution.
- Wet a clean cloth with the solution and dab at nail polish stain.
- Take care not to scrub or rub the stain, as this could cause the polish to spread further.
- Continue dabbing until you have lifted up most of the stain.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove remaining residue from the rug.
- If needed, sprinkle dry shampoo onto the rug and gently brush it in using a clean cloth, taking care to brush in the same direction.
- Vacuum the rug one more time, to lift away any remaining residue.
 Conclusion
Nail polish can be a nightmare to clean from rugs and carpets. However, with a bit of patience and elbow-grease, you can quickly restore your area rugs to their former glory.
