         What You'll Need
  - Water
- White vinegar
- Dish soap
- Cotton swab
- Paper towel
 Step 1: Blot the Stain
You want to start by blotting the stain as much as possible. Grab a paper towel and press the area gently, dabbing the stain instead of rubbing. This will help avoid spreading the stain across the fabric.
 Step 2: Make a Solution
Add a teaspoon of white vinegar and a few drops of dish soap into a bowl of water. Mix it up well and dunk your tie into it. Soak the tie for 20 minutes and then agitate the fabric for a few minutes by swirling it around.
 Step 3: Rinse Stain
Remove the tie from the bowl and give it a rinse under cold, running water. Make sure you're rinsing away all of the soap-vinegar solution.
 Step 4: Spot Treat
If there is still some staining remaining, get a cotton swab and dip it into the same solution. Gently dab the stained area until the stain is lifted. Don't rub or scrub the fabric.
 Step 5: Wash
Once the stain is completely gone, give the tie a full wash. Put it in washing machine with other items in a light cycle. Avoid harsh detergents as these can damage the fabric.
 Step 6: Dry
After washing, tumble dry the tie on a low heat setting. Once the tie is completely dry, give it a press with an iron using a low heat setting.
