         What You'll Need
  - Dish soap
- Warm water
- White cloth
- Spoon
- Mild laundry detergent
 Step-by-Step Instructions
  - Blot the affected area of abaya using a white cloth. Don't rub material as it could spread the stain further.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of dish soap in one cup of warm water.
- Dip the white cloth in the solution and dab at stained area, working the soap and water into the fabric.
- Using the back of a spoon, gently scrape away any excess ketchup from the abaya. Do not apply too much force or you could damage the fabric.
- Rinse the abaya with clean warm water and pat it dry with a towel.
- Apply a mild laundry detergent to the stained area and let it sit for 20 minutes. During this time, the detergent will help to loosen the ketchup stain from the fabric.
- Rinse the abaya with clean cold water and repeat Steps 1-6 if needed.
 Additional Tips
  - Where possible, try to avoid wearing your abaya when eating messy foods.
- If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can soak your abaya in a bucket of cold water for up to three hours before repeating Steps 1-6.
