         What You Need
  - Clean cloth
- Dry cleaning solvent
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
 Instructions
  - Start by gently scraping away the excess glue from the surface of the rug. Use a clean cloth to remove as much of the glue as possible.
- Once you have removed the excess glue, use dry cleaning solvent to gently treat the stained area.
- Mix a few drops of dish soap in a bowl of warm water. Dip cloth in the mixture and gently rub it over glue stain. Use a circular motion, being careful not to scrub too harshly.
- If the glue remains, mix 1/4 cup of white vinegar with 1/4 cup of warm water. Dip the cloth in the solution and gently blot stained area. Continue to blot until the stain is removed.
- Finally, rinse the area with clean water and allow it to dry completely. Once the area is dry, your rug should look good as new.
