Use a medium-soft toothbrush or a plastic knife to scrape off any feces from the boxers. Scraping will not only make it easier for the washing machine to handle the cleaning, but it will also reduce the amount of bacteria present on fabric.
Fill a bucket with cold water and add a tablespoon of laundry detergent or pre-wash stain remover. Gently mix the solution, then add the boxers. Allow the garment to soak for at least an hour before proceeding to the next step.
Spray the stained area with white vinegar, then scrub it gently with a clean cloth or sponge. This will break down the bacteria and help to lift the stain.
Remove the boxers from the bucket and launder as usual. Make sure to check for any lingering odors or stains.
