Get Rid of Crayon Stains From Your Down Jacket With These Easy Steps
        No parent wants to find their child's artwork on a down jacket! Fortunately, removing crayon stains from down jackets is not difficult and can be done with just a few basic household supplies.          What You'll Need: 
  -  White vinegar 
-  Sponge 
-  A mild detergent, such as Woolite or Dawn 
-  Warm water 
-  Towel 
 Steps: 
  -  Mix one part white vinegar with five parts warm water in a small bowl or bucket. 
-  Soak the affected area of down jacket in the mixture for 10-15 minutes. 
-  Using a sponge or soft towel, gently blot the stained area. 
-  Rinse stained area with warm water. 
-  Apply a small amount of mild detergent (Woolite or Dawn) directly to the stain. 
-  Rub the detergent into the stain in a circular motion. 
-  Let the detergent sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes. 
-  Rinse detergent off the down jacket using warm water. 
-  Blot the area with a clean towel to absorb any excess moisture. 
-  Allow down jacket to air dry completely. 
 Tips: 
  -  Do not use hot water when cleaning down jackets as it can damage the fabric. 
-  Do not put the jacket in the dryer until you are sure the stain has been completely removed. 
-  If the stain persists, repeat steps 1-9.
