Removing Adhesive Tape Stains from Venetian Lace
  - Start by removing any excess adhesive residue with a sharp knife or blade. Be very careful when doing this and take extra caution to only remove the adhesive and not the delicate lace fabric.
- Fill a bowl or sink with warm water and add a few drops of mild detergent or liquid soap.
- Soak a clean cloth in the soapy water and gently dab the stained areas. Make sure to use only a light pressure to avoid further damaging fabric.
- Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with clean warm water before gently pressing the cloth over the fabric to absorb any excess water.
- To dry the fabric, lay it flat on a clean towel and let it air dry.
Tips for Preventing Adhesive Tape Stains on Venetian Lace
  - Never affix adhesive tape directly onto the fabric. Doing so will likely cause marks and discoloration.
- Test a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric with the adhesive tape before using. This will help you decide whether or not the adhesive is suitable.
- If possible, affix the adhesive tape onto furniture or other hard surfaces near the Venetian lace instead.
- Clean the fabric regularly to prevent stubborn dirt and grime build-up.
