Tackle Those Sticky Situations: Cleaning Adhesive Tape Stains from Ball Gowns
        When cocktail hour rolls around and you don’t have time to change, it can be a real buzzkill when adhesive tape stains mess up look of your ball gown. Don’t worry – with some simple cleaning steps, you can restore your dress to its original glory.

         Things You’ll Need 
  -  Dish soap 
-  White vinegar 
-  Toothbrush 
-  Paper towel 
 Instructions 
  -  Soak a paper towel in a mixture of dish soap and water and lay it over the affected area until it is saturated. 
-  Cover that with a damp cloth and apply pressure so the mixture can penetrate the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes. 
-  Brush the stained area with toothbrush that has been soaked in a mixture of half white vinegar, half water. 
-  Rinse the area with warm water and pat it dry with paper towels. 
 Tips 
  -  Don't try to rub out the stain with anything. 
-  Apply cleaner in small circles to minimize the chances of dye transfer. 
-  Dry cleaners may offer professional help with tough adhesive stains like this.
